Mrs. Marva Moss Cheapoo has spent over 30 years serving students in various capacities. Mrs. Cheapoo displays great leadership, impeccable character, a willingness to listen, and an exceptional ability to overcome obstacles.
In addition, Mrs. Cheapoo’s connection to the country of Liberia has afforded her first-hand knowledge of the specific needs of the students there. She served as a teacher and administrator and is well aware of the challenges that she will face to meet the multiplicity of needs of Liberian students. Mrs. Cheapoo will bring not only the many years of experience she has in education but a wealth of knowledge to the specific challenges and needs.
She has proven to be a valuable asset to the educational organization in which she has served for several decades. Most importantly, Mrs. Cheapoo has had a desire to form an organization with a focus on building the capacity of other educators while serving the youth and community of Liberia. Realizing her dream she will open her school Achievement Academy Monrovia on property she acquired 49 years ago.
